About us: What we do
Art Therapy promotes emotional expression through the creation of art. It allows individuals new perspectives through visual images Art therapy is based on the idea that people can recognize and express feelings and emotions through the creation of images. It is a symbolic language that provides different avenues of communication, and helps express unconscious conflicts. Utilizing the creative process, therapy sessions highlight individuality and build confidence. The emphasis is on the process of creating-not the product.
It is a therapy that helps people to imagine and visualize change, view challenges with new perspectives, and discover creative solutions. It gives people the freedom to make decisions, to experiment and test ideas.
