Call for Artists Guidelines
Each month, ATI hosts 2nd Friday ArtWalk artists! Throughout the year, we showcase our clinical programs, individual clients and community based artists. If you are interested in showing your work, apply to be an artist! Using the online form, please include a brief artist statement/bio, description of your work, 2-3 images representative of the work you will show, what month(s) you are interested/available in participating and contact information. The ATI Artwalk Committee will review applicants and notify artists within 4 weeks of submission with a decision of acceptance.
*Artist receives 100% profit from works sold. We respectfully request artists to consider making a donation to ATI to show continued support of the community based programs we offer.
*Art must be hung the first week of the month and taken down the last week of the month. This will be coordinated with ATI staff/volunteers.
*Artist is encouraged to be mindful of ATI's core beliefs, values and mission statement and ATI reserves the right to withhold works of art that challenge these beliefs.
*Through the submission process, the artist permits ATI to use/share artist information and images in electronic & print publications, website, and social media outlets to promote and reflect on the event.
*Artist agrees to be present during the 2nd Friday Artwalk event from 6-8pm.
*Artist is responsible for marketing materials such as postcards, flyers, etc.
*Artist may choose to provide/offer refreshments, beverages the night of the event (paper products and cups are the responsibility of the artist).
*Artist is responsible for repairs and/or patching walls immediately, if damage occurs during the hanging/take down process.
*Artist assumes all risks and agrees to hold the Art Therapy Institute (including staff and Board of Trustees) harmless for any damages or theft of Artist’s works left or on display at ATI. ATI does not provide insurance coverage for artwork on display.
