Please join us for the presentation “The Song of Iron and the Schizoaffective Order” by artist Tripp Jarvis. The presentation is based on a series of his sculptures that chart his journey beyond the threshold of psychosis. Through imagination, iron casting, and sculpture, Tripp builds a working paradigm and insight into the complex healing process that circles around the issues concerned with schizoaffective disorder; and that compassion, empathy, love, and most importantly art may the best tools to assist someone who may be on this heroic journey of the imagination. There will be an art making experiential as part of the workshop, no art making experience necessary! The workshop will take place in conjunction with the 2nd Friday Artwalk featuring works by Tripp.
