Mission Statement
The Art Therapy Institute began in October of 2006. Our Master’s level art therapists bring art to the places people are every day; after school centers, day treatment programs, schools and domestic violence shelters. Enhancing the outreach we do as mental health clinicians improves access to mental health services in our community. By approaching mental health issues more globally and by sharing the healing components of the arts we are able to provide support for many people and prevent more intensive interventions.
